Back to Winning Ways at Mid-Ohio

It was a weekend to remember at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course as I got my first win and swept the weekend at Mid-O.

We rolled off the truck already quick, and it showed as we were P1 in the first practice and topped every single official session across the weekend.

After topping both of the official practice sessions, I managed to put it on pole for race 1. After losing the lead on lap 1, I maintained patience and took back the lead as the race came to an end. Race 2 was even more exciting. I lined up 3rd on the grid, and fell back to 4th at the start. What followed was a 4 car battle for the lead, which maintained itself for the majority of the race. After sitting in 4th for a while, I eventually started to make my way to the front. I took the lead with just a few minutes remaining, and held off my competitors to take my second win on the weekend.

My two wins mean I now take over the championship lead. We head to New Jersey in a couple weeks time, and I’ll look to maintain this good form!
