Podium At Teretonga!

Round 3 of CTFROT at Teretonga was a wild one. Torrential rain for most of the weekend meant there was little dry running to be done. Qualifying was chaotic with many red flags, but we were able to qualify P9 for race 1. I took advantage of a good start and some attrition to bring the car home P6 in Race 1, which meant we would start third on the grid for the reverse grid Race 2. After falling to 4th after a poor start, I was able to take advantage of a late safety car restart to retake P3 and cross the line for my first podium of the season. After race 3 was cancelled due to poor weather, we went straight into into race 4. An early off on the first lap caused me to fall to the back, and I struggled to re-take that track position. A late race confusion involving a red flag and the transition to dry tires cost us an opportunity at a strong recovery, but overall a positive weekend and a lot learned.
